Top Of The Rock – 30 Rockefeller Plaza

Posted by Adam Mizrahi On January - 6 - 2009

I can think of no better place  than New York City to start discussing cities.  New York City is the grandest and most impressive American city, and is perhaps one of the greatest cities in the world.  In all my years of travel I have never been to a place that has the impact and power that the Big Apple impresses upon its visitors.  New York city is true urban wonder that physically symbolizes in stone what man has and can accomplish given the right tools and set of circumstances.

Whether or not one can actually visualize living in a place like New York City does not take away from the raw power the city exhibits.  True mountains, built by man cover miles and miles.  Streets seems like large never ending stone canyons, and from atop the high mountainous buildings, one can see a man made mountain range, carved from the sweat and tears of many.

Rockefeller Center is just such a  place. There is so much to be said about Rockefeller Center’s consistent design, urban integration, connectivity to subways and streets, and public art. The following is a picture gallery of the New York Skyline taken from the Top of the Rock – 30 Rockefeller Plaza:
